It’s nearly that time of year again, when we all wait in anticipation to hear who will be the Skoda Retailer of the Year! Alex Lawrie Skoda have come in the Silver postition in both 2006 and 2007 for this prestigious award, which gives credit for such things as:

• Core results in service, parts and sales
• Parts team analysis on sales, accessories and aftersales
• Service team results for technical training, aftersales and hours per job sold
• Sales team results for vehicle sales target, finance sales and sales training

These annual awards, now in their second year, are part of Škoda’s Retailer Incentive Programme. They are designed to reward top achievers, encourage competitiveness and help share best practice across the UK Retailer network.

As part of Škoda’s focus on happy drivers, customer satisfaction and service delivery are among the main criteria that the manufacturer looks for in its Retailers, along with vehicle sales and financial performance.

Previous years have seen Alex Lawrie Skoda picking up the silver position and this year we are going for Gold! Please see below for some pictures of our very own Alex Lawrie at the 2007 event.

The Skoda Fabia Greenline has been built as a direct result of rising fuel prices, to offer the driving public viable transport for the modern era.  With fuel prices topping £2.40 in places for a litre of Diesel, the new Skoda Fabia Greenline offers fuel returns of 68.9 MPG and a CO2 emmision level of 109 g/km, lower than most of it’s rivals!  The Skoda Fabia Greenline offers the same fabulous loadspace and features as the rest of the Fabia range, with funky styling and generous specifications, yet the 1.4 TDi engine offers not only 80bhp but fabulous mileage to each tankful of diesel!
