we had a spending limit of £6,000 for a car, Met Alex and she is the only other woman that could make my Husband spend more than he wanted, £8,400 on a Fabia VRS and we love it.
Thank you Alex for being so nice and very friendly. You are no trainee sales person for getting blood out of a stone.

I collected my Octavia Estate 1.9TDI DSG on 1 Sep 07 from Alex Lawrie Skoda. I found that the their no pressure sales technique was a breath of fresh air.
The sales to delivery procedure was faultless, and Tony Mckenzie (Our Sales Guy) was a mine of information very professional and great to deal with.
After 10 days, the car is outstanding in every way. I do have one major regret:
I wish I had purchased an Octavia from Alex Lawrie years ago!

I collected my Fabia Classic Estate 1.4 yesterday from Alex Lawrie Skoda. I found their helpfull attitutude from the first phone call to the last wanted me to deal with no other car sales firm, to say that I was stressed an needed to get a specific car which was an automatic and like needed it yesterday was a no brainer. Did this faze Eamon Walsh? No. Not Only did he find me one but he went the EXTRA MILES to make sure I got it. I never felt pressured in any only supported to achieve my goal. Many thanks Eamon, I am enjoying driving my car, and I will remember you always for your patience and understanding but most of all for your kindness. This message goes to Alex Lawrie also for having the wisdom to employ staff of this calibre. I am glad to say I once was a skoda owner and am now one for life. I am on my second new Skoda from Alex Lawrie so that tells a story there in itself. Both times I have dealt with Barrie Gould in sales and there has been no pressure, once the order was made I was kept updated regularly and I got a fantastic part exchange price against both new cars I have bought.
Something else not to be forgotten is after sales and service and this is in my opinion an area where Alex Lawrie really set’s itself apart from other dealers. The service and parts staff are both knowledgable and approachable. the prices have been excellent and even after a couple of visits for minor warranty work my car was washed and hoovered.
I have now had 2 great cars from a first class dealership and I am certain that I will be back for car number 3

We collected our skoda octavia on 25 nov 08 and we could not be happier with the car. We now have two octavias and we cannot fault the cars or the service from alex lawrie skoda. Alex Duncan was friendly and professional and the no pressure sales technique was appealing. Skoda cars are for people with common sense. Volkswagon and Audi cars are for people who want to buy the same cars but pay extra £000’s for a different badge!!!

I recently had a service carried out on my Skoda Roomster and was really impressed. I have bought 2 cars from Alex Lawrie skoda in the past but one of the things that really makes this dealership standout is the service and parts department. Tony Casford in particular is outstanding, explaining invoices fully, and dealing with my slightly odder requests like the retrofit of cruise control. The prices for servicing here are cheaper than independent specialists, you get piece of mind that trained technicians are handling your car, and it is returned cleaned, hoovered and with top up oil and screenwash.
I can’t fault the service and parts department at Alex Lawrie, great customer focus and supreme professionalism.

My car was collected/delieverd at my home address by a member of staff. The dealership carried out a 2 years service + change the break fluid.My overall thoughts on this servicing is that it was well worth the money, which included a litre of topping up oil. Had I have gone to an independent, I doubt that the would have noted my cooling fans where not working. (which were replaced under warrantee). As I have never had a cooling issue, I may have driven the car out of it’s warrantee, then had to pay for the repair. Well pleased with Alex Lawrie Dealership. I have only been the twice and twice it was a 5 Star service. My Thanks to Tony in the service Dept and the young man that collected/deliverd my car.

I had been looking for a new shape Octavia VRS(petrol) with DSG without success when the Alex Lawrie demo vehicle miraculously appeared in Midlands Auto Trader. I was a bit sceptical about trying to do a deal over the phone (I live in Coventry) but Eamon Walsh didn’t have any problem in making an offer for my Octavia VRS diesel (manual) based on my description. Given that the offer seemed on a par with other valuations I decided to travel. The car was presented perfectly and Eamon was most concerned that I should drive the car before any further deliberation took place to make sure I was happy with it. He had also suggested I take up the Skoda 7 day free insurance so that I could drive it away on the same day. After inspecting my car and with due integrity the original deal was confirmed (how rare is that!) and whilst the ex democar was given a final check I was offered some lunch and coffee.
This is my third Ocatavia and the best so far. the DSG is fantastic. Shame that 3 Mobile isn’t compatible with the integrated bluetooth but hey its safer not to use it at all! I even had a follow up call from Eamon to make sure I was still happy with everything. Can’t speak highly enough. Buy a Skoda from them now!
